MENTORING

The Toastmasters mentoring program aims to support and guide new members by pairing them with experienced mentors. Goals include enhancing individual growth, developing communication and leadership skills, and fostering a supportive community. The program encourages personal connections, providing mentees with valuable feedback and encouragement as they progress through their Toastmasters journey.

Stephen Wagner, BIT

Mentoring is an underestimated pillar of Toastmasters. Thanks to all my mentors I have gained valuable insights and hints for advancing my communication and leadership skills I can also apply in my daily life. Being a mentor myself, I also enjoy sharing my experience with other members. It opens up a new perspective through exchanging thoughts and ideas. Mentoring can be a real win-win situation.

Anne Kathrin Jansen, BIT

I am Anne Kathrin, BIT member since 2010. As my mentee you should be independent in thoughts and acting. You will do the work. I will give hints and answer any questions. My preference are down-to-earth, everyday compatible speeches, not performing or acting out loud or extrovert. My personal strength and preference is moderation.  See you soon!

Mary Blinkova, President BIT

I believe everyone has a unique story to share, and I’d love to help you tell yours effectively. Conveying your message is crucial for success. It might be uncomfortable at first, but with consistent practice and support, you’ll see a breakthrough.
